East Baghdad field is considered as the most important fields in Midland Oil Company, as the company`s current site is located in the center of field operations, EB oil field has an initial oil in place of (40 )Bbbl according to the latest study conducted on the field by the Japanese Japex Company (Japanese Oil Company) . It is one of the producing fields in addition to three production fields: (Naftkhaneh , Ahdeb , and Badra ) .

The Estimated production of EB field is approximately (3,516,210) bbl. in 2014, and a daily average production of oil (9633) bbl/d  and (21.58) mmscf/d for gas . The total wells at EB field are (43) well, till now.

The drilled, completed , and tested wells during  2014 are (4) vertical wells , one well of them is connected to the production system. And the company has future drilling plans to drill 20 well in Al_ Rashidiya area for increasing the production.

It is also planned to hold work over operations for wells in Al_Rashidiya area and this operations are depending on the budget.

The oil produced from the field is pumped through the pipeline to the Al-Kuds thermal power station which is located near the field and the gas it is burn.

As for the Ahdeb Oil field that locates at Wasit province, the number of producing wells at the end of 2014 was (203) producing wells and (53) injection wells and the rate of daily oil production during the same year was (132) mbbl / day and average daily gas production is (78) mmscf / day, the oil is exported to the (Tuba) station and Zubaydiah electricity, and the gas is partly  exported to Zubaydiah power station in addition to the other part is pressed and turn it into a liquid gas and transferred to Kut gas Company and burn the remaining , it is  noted that the investment is a service contract where Al-Waha Chinese company is developing it.

Badra oil field, which is located in Wasit  province, at a border between Iraq and Iran. The field started production on 20/8/2014 and the daily average oil production is (19028) bbl / day and gas daily production is (25,565) mmscf / day. Oil is exported to Tuba pump and gas station burns. The field is developing by Gazprom-neft B.V. Russian Gazbrom company is developing it. The total producing wells from the field to the end of 2014 are( 3 )wells.

Naftkhana field, which is also a border field with Iran is located in Diyala province, the oil production rate during 2014 is (2384) bbl / day and gas at a rate of (4.56) mmscf / day, oil is exports to Daura Refinery by pipes burn.

Al-Mansuriya gas field, which Turkish company (TPAO) in (July / 2011) is started developing the field, the plateau of the gas production of this field will be (320) mmscf gas / day depending on the PDP plan.

Akkas gas field, which the Korean company (Kogas), will develop it, the plateau of the gas production will be (400) mmscf gas / day depending on the PDP plan of the field.

The development of these gas fields projects have a significant positive impact on the Iraqi economy, especially when supplying electric power stations of dry product gas and supplying gas filling stations by liquefied gas (Lpg).

There are more than (30) oil and gas fields that is located within the area of operations of the

company in addition to about (160) geological blocks which is that is not explored yet.
